OUR SIGNATURE BABY MEMORY BOOK SERIES

If this is your first baby book, then there are a few things you’ll need to know. If this is your second, third or fourth, you’ll realise our baby book is unlike the others.

The 3 most important things to consider before buying a baby book are:

1) Does it have all the milestones I want to record?
2) How easy it is to fill out? and
3) Does it look nice?

What milestones are in the book?
You want to make sure that all the milestones you want to record in your baby book have been included. There’s nothing worse than wanting to record a memory and the prompt not being there. On the other hand, it’s just as frustrating to have so many unnecessary prompts that you never end up completing the book. The ability to preview all the pages before purchasing is always a great way to know exactly what you’re buying.

How easy is it to fill out?
Is there enough space to fill out my answer? Do I have to cut my photos down to fit in the photo boxes provided? Is there enough space to put all the photos I want to put? Are there prompts to help me complete the page? These are just some of the things that determine if your baby book will be fun to fill out or if it will feel like a chore.

Does it look nice?
Just because you’re having a baby, doesn’t mean that your sense of style has to go out the window. Your baby book is a very important part of you and your baby’s journey, and where you record all the memories should be just as beautiful as the stories you remember. Your baby book will also be kept on your bookshelf for many years to come, so you want something that looks beautiful and won’t become outdated.

Easy To Fill Out

One of the biggest regrets parents have about their baby book is that they didn’t complete it. You’ll barely have enough time to take a shower, let alone enough time to fill out an essay-styled baby book. That’s why we spent months developing and getting feedback from real parents who told us which milestones were the most important to them.

Complete with simple, open-ended prompts, you won’t be racking your poor sleep-deprived brain, trying to write about milestones that don’t mean anything to you.

Fits All Photo Sizes

We know how hard it is to find a baby milestone journal that will fit photos of different sizes. A lot of baby books out there require you to have square photos or make you stick photos in just the one way (ie. only vertically, or only horizontally).

It was important for us to design a book with pages flexible enough for you to stick in photos without having to cut them down to a certain size or having to stick them in, in just the one direction.

Your baby book is divided into 4 separate sections: Your Arrival, Your First Year, Records, Milestones & Firsts, Years 2 to 5. And just to make sure there’s enough space for everyone – there are lots of extra pages in each section to let you add more detail if you need.

That’s why we designed our first years baby memory book to suit all families. Rather than referencing “Mommy” and “Daddy”, the prompts use words such as “our” and “we”. For example: instead of saying “Mommy and Daddy’s reactions to seeing you for the first time” the book uses “Our reactions to seeing you for the first time”. And instead of “How Mommy felt during labour”, we use “The story of your arrival”.
